Danette McAlhaney, MD
Dr. Mc, as she is called, graduated from College of Charleston where she received a degree in Biology and a minor in pre-med. She then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and did her residency at McLeod Family Medicine in Florence. She is boarded in Family Medicine and sees patients of all ages including having an active nursing home practice at PruittHealth of Bamberg.
Holly Gwaltney, FNP
Holly has been a Nurse Practitioner for 12 years and a Registered Nurse for 23 years. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in 1991. She then continued her education at the University of South Carolina and received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000 and Master of Science in Nursing in 2002. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages including infants and children. Holly also specializes in foot and nail care for diabetics.
Crystal McGuire, FNP
Crystal is a graduate of Chamberlain University with a Masters Degree in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After spending more than 20 years in emergency medicine working as a paramedic and registered nurse, she began working in family medicine. Crystal has a love for rural health, spending her career working in local rural areas. Having the ability to treat patients from all age groups and walks of life is what drew Crystal to Bamberg Family Practice.
Bretta Kittrell, FNP
Bretta received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Clemson University in 2010. After graduating, she spent five years working in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Palmetto Health Richland and three years in the Operating Room at the Regional Medical Center. In 2017 she graduated from Graceland University where she specialized in family medicine and received her Master of Science in Nursing Degree.
Sarah Heilig, FNP
Sarah is a native of Aiken, SC and graduated with degrees in Sports and Exercise Science and Nursing from the University of South Carolina at Aiken. She worked as a RN in Critical Care for over 17 years before pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, GA. Sarah enjoys treating patients of all ages.
